Hi JetApps Team,

If you "clone" the S3 destination and create a new generic S3 API like, the only field to change is region that in this case

need to be filled with host of the object storage (i.e.: objects-us-west-1.dream.io for Dream Objects).

Thank you for the feedback :)

We are seriously considering this. Unfortunately there is no currently known ETA for this/

We will update here though for any progress.

Any update on this feature?

Hi,

We are still working on this :)

We currently rewriting the entire bucket storage engine to support most of the known vendors (based on S3 technology), and to add true incremental support as well.

With our current workload/roadmap I believe we should expect initial version of the feature within 6 month or so.

Thanks,

Ofir.

Hi,

Currently, we are working on incremental backups to Backblaze and hopefully after that on all S3 platforms.

Regards.

We are using DigitalOcean Spaces and of course they use the Amazon S3 protocol. This shouldn't be difficult to implement... I have had platform agnostic S3 as an option in even much lesser used software like Virtaulmin.

Any luck with this, we're also wanting to use Digital Ocean spaces (Amazon S3 compatible).

It's possible to manually upload files to DigitalOcean Spaces and much more using rclone on the command line but that is a far cry from automated UI stuff that JetBackup does.

Thanks Charles. Yes, but DO Spaces has a fully S3 compliant API so if JetBackups supports S3 then allowing custom endpoints with a compatible API shouldn't be much of a problem at all.

Yes @Steve Smith, I saw somewhere at large on Google that someone got it working by just modifying I think it was one file in JetBackup to have a DO path. I think it's a super but then you have to remember to maintain that file and make sure it patch it every time you grade.
